He is branded the "Canarsie Representer" by his peers,a title that is near and dear to his heart. Brian Lewis a/k/a K-TONE was born in Canarsie Brooklyn, NY. As a child growing up in the streets of Brooklyn K-TONE spent most of hs time in various recording studios with his father, who was an unsigned reggae artist. K-TONE developed his passion for music from an early age due to him constantly being around musicians, producers, & engineers. So he decided that music would be his career choice. “I belong in the studio" says K-TONE.
K-TONE feels very passionate about repping his local community and he is determined to become the first to put Canarsie, Brooklyn on the hip-hop map. He is known for his ability to cunningly deliver stories with insight & his vast vocabulary. He is known as a trendsetter among his friends. He is equipped with the required traits to become a true superstar in every aspect. However it has been a long road for K-TONE who has been developing his craft since the age of three. After being featured on several showcase locally & nationally. K-TONE was convinced to enhance his talents commercially. He has vowed to make a change and deliver a positive message in his music, in an effort to open the eyes of today’s youth so they won’t end up down the wrong path. K-TONE has developed a buzz in his Brooklyn community, which has given him an opportunity for local and national exposure. He has opened and closed shows dynamically for Busta Rymes, Ron Brownz, Lil Mama, Bow Wow, Rick Ross and Jada Kiss, just to a name a few. He is truly a force to be reckoned with.
